I've never used Mobil1 but have heard great things about the oil I usually use Valvoline durablend and I can say that the deal above is a better price....full synthetic even?! I may have to stock up!

I guess that's not a bad deal. I'm not sure about the Mobil 1 filter. I've been using Mobil 1 5 Truck/SUV formula in my ST for years, along with the Motorcraft FL820S filter. Total cost for materials is about the same as this deal, sometimes less than $29.99, depending on where I buy and what might be on sale.

I work at Advance... Got a memo the other day about a shortage on Mobil1, and ANY brand synthetic would be honored at the same price with the purchase of the Mobil1 filter. Employees bought out the Royal Purple when this was announced (I was off that day, so missed out on that one) There should be signs posted near the oil stating this, but at my store we don't seem to have a shortage, so there are no signs posted at the present.



Also this month: 5qts Valvoline and Purolator filter for 15 or 16 bucks--(don't remember exactly), all wipers are buy one get one free including Bosch, Trico and RainX. The wiper deal is a mail in rebate.
