Anybody post add Ford's Mobile-Ease to their ST? 2007? I ordered a Stang with it delivered and am pretty happy with it. Was wondering about installing one in the ST myself (if Ford permits).

Bargin.....

I have the Bluetooth adaptor for my Pioneer Headunit, but never installed it. I had to have it when I bought my Nav system, but the Bluetooth was on backorder. I installed my Nav and had to wait for the ND-BT1. I haven't gotten around to pulling the AVIC to put it in. I seem to manage just fine without it.

Not sure who makes the ford one, but I have heard good thinks about a company called Parrot I think it is for bluetooth stuff...

It is ranked a "3" on the hard to install meter from Ford... lol

Are you serious about this as a bargain$ Just asking, cause I don't know.

The unit in my other car works great, and was installed by the factory, I think.

Where did you find the "3" install meter?

And you other guys are correct, it is both, 380+50.

I say go with the Parrot......I don't think $430 is a bargain for this.

I have the Bluetooth adaptor on my AVIC, but if I had gone with a handsfree unit on the factory radio I would have done the Parrot.

The little guy rolling his eyes  Was supposed to make it appear that I was not serious. That piece sounds pretty expensive, and I couldn't find any user reviews on it. I can however find info about the Parrot piece...

I have the Parrot 3200 LS-Color handsfree car kit on mine. I absolutely love it.

Ya don't have to link up to it every time you get in the car. It does it on it's own. It mutes the stereo or pauses my cd, whichever is playing, and the sound comes through my stereo speakers.

It tells me who is calling with my voice recognition, shows me their picture, tells me the number and the name of the person calling. If the person is not in your address book, it shows their number.

No matter how loud I have the stereo, I never miss a call. The sound is clear both ways. I don't have to talk loud to be heard. The passenger in my ST can talk calmly and still be heard.

For that much money, $430, there are probably better options out there. My alpine head unit was 350, and 180 for the bt option. That parrot bluetooth is probably a good one, Dingo has a motorola unit that works great. Good luck
