Has anyone been?

I am getting married in June. Honeymoon at the Hilton Rose Hall Resort, all inclusive. Everything is booked.

Where do we go? What do we see? What should we avoid? Any recommendations?

I don't want to go with an itinerary, but I do want to have a few things in mind to do when we arrive.

Things I enjoy:

Culture

Arts

Music

Scenery

Outdoor Activities

Food!!!!!!!

Things she enjoys:

Art

Architecture

Scenery

Laying on the beach!!!!

Things we don't enjoy:

Crowded nightclubs

Drunk teenagers

Noisy children (for now)

Being robbed!!!!

A budget is important because we are paying for this entirely ourselves (on my insistence!). It is not most important, though; it is our honeymoon after all.

We have been to Jamacia many times. We stay at Sandals. We are returning in May. My recomendation would be to check at the resort for tours and shopping trips. I would think they would have the best resources for what you want. We have also rented cabs for a more personal experiance. Be sure to negociate your fare in advance. I wouldn't recomend leaveing the resort at night, some do without problems but I would not. Be aware of your surroundings just like you would do anywhere you go. You will find that the Jamacian people are just wonderful. That's the reason we return over and over. You will love it. Enjoy and best wishes!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can buy real Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee at the shops- delicious. You can buy another type of Jamaican from the little boats that cruise by the beaches..... Do not go out in town unescorted at night.
