Used Left and Right Signal Mirror for Ford Explorer, works for 1995-2000 used and in good conditions. Both light up. Works great. Will fit early 01 Trac. Selling the MUTH glass signal mirror not entire mirror assembly. $70 shipped OBO

Coastiejoe, things have gotten hectic around here. My 84 year old mom fell and hit her head. She was brought to the hospital for stitches, MRIs and observation. ALL appears well.

Please resend the info if you could. The background to these MUTH mirrors is that I got them used on E-Bay for $70. I thought that they would work on my '03 mirrors since the mirrors will mount interchangebly with an explorer. MUTH uses different glass setup between '01 and '02 and up. I thoght that the year limit was due to the redesined explorer. It appears that the internals of Ford mirrors were changed during that period throughout the truck line. The glass mounts differently. I would either like to sell the MUTH glass OR get a set or early Explorer mirrors with puddle lights and mount the MUTH mirrors on them. I prefer the latter.

Just a post on the mirrors: I have them on my '04. I can't imagine not having them. :)

Anyone who has an early '01 and gets these will be more than happy with the resulting install.

Mike, I can relate... I had three days off in a row. Sat, Sun and Monday. However, I spent all three days either at or driving to the hospital. Both my daughters got so sick we could not keep them hydrated. Then my youngest daughter was not strong enough to be able to go to the bathroom as it hurt her muscles to "push". So she ended up constipated. Had to go back to the Hospital and get her an enema. Since I was not sure what was wrong we went and let them take an X-ray. And the picture showed we were correct guessing she was constipated.

Pretty traumatic for an 8 year old....

I'll look up your mirror stuff now.

Ok, just did a search. For the Model year 2000 here are the options..

Based on how I understand you, the year 2000 will work, correct??

And there is a heated option and a non heated option. I'm guessing since you plan on changing out the glass you don't need the heated option.

Also, after doing a search I did find some that have broken glass for a pretty low figure. Is this something you would be interested in????

Coastiejoe, Electric puddle lights with broken glass is ideal. If not available one's with glass will obviously work . 2000 Explorer should work according to MUTH's info. I need both right and left.

I hope all is well with your daughter and I wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Found several options. I did a search with the Non-Heated option as you did not specify that you want the heated glass.

2000 Mirror-Door (Right) Mercury Mountaineer black new, w/out glass VN2 $71 (Code 8790275-t8's)

Also found several used units for just slightly less money. The new one was the best for the money that was listed. The used unit are no problem though.

The left side is much harder to come by for some reason. Found a handful available though. The used unit are going $65 to $75.

If these prices are where you looking to spend let me know and I will contact the yards direct and confirm price and availability..

The used range is OK. If I could get the other side of the connector that would be great since my OEMs do not have wires for the lamps. Coastiejoe, use you judgement. I need a good clean pair. I will support your choice and will sent either a PAYPAL or MO payment. Thanks for your help....MikeC

Due to the holidays were pretty much done until Monday but I will lock something up for you. I will ensure plugs are available ang get a concrete price to you. Have a good Christmas.....
