Finally got time to put in my audio stuff...

2 bad components out of the box.

How many of y'all have had bad audio stuff right out of the box?

It could be junk cold solders...

I have seen this a lot in electronics, luckily not on stuff I have bought in a while..

I had a 12 disk changer that was bad right out of the box, that was about 10 years ago.

I bought an equalizer/booster a few years back that was bad. I thought it was my installation wiring...drove me nuts for quite a few hours till I figured it out.

Many companies today have shabby quality control. They make the user the quality control engineer. Very few companies do 100% product C/O before packaging.

Man, that blows Dingo. I feel for ya. It would really bite to have new stuff and be excited to get it in and thumping and find out that the company has a piss poor QC dept. I've had a few subs that came and had dents, broken wires and ince a cracked magnet. Kind-of a kick in the pants if you know what I mean. Hope you get it worked out.;)

Yeah. Sub, box, smaller sub, amp, HD radio, Ipod, Bluetooth, LOC/DSP, and a ton of wires... And the two major components are both worthless.

On another note, HOLY CRAP@HD Radio. I had never really heard the difference before.

It was a brutal install, but by the end of this week you will have your new stuff and you will be pricing dynamat for the entire car.

I pity the person that answers the phone when you call to return.

Axel, the two big-ass speaker wires are crimped together right now and just laying in the back floorboard.

I knew you would do that. but that still wont break in the sub. I should have just left the thing in my truck and broken it in this week.
