Took the week off between Christmas and New Year's. I had my kids that week, so one day we all went to see the Christmas Story House in Cleveland. It's restored to look like it did in the movie on the outside, although the floorplan inside is not identical to the movie. Most of the interior scenes were filmed on a soundstage. Tour is only $5. You buy tickets in another house/museum across the street. Yes they sell leg lamps. I need one for next Christmas. :lol:
Before that, on Chrismas Day the plan is to go from Pittsburgh to my wife's sister's place in Erie, then to my sister's in Akron, OH, then home. Get to SIL's house in the country and their Rottweiler mix attacks my greyhound and takes a chunk out of his back leg. Rush to the emergency vet, it's bad but they can stitch him up. Her boyfriend says "I don't trust that dog. He's bitten five people including me." Great, so WTF is he doing running around loose when you KNOW you have company coming? Idiots, both of them. Dog will be a few hours in surgery, so we go to Akron anyway, then back to Erie to get the dog, then home to Pittsburgh. Stiches and about 20 staples down the back of his leg. It's been a heckuva week. :wacko:
