we laided him to rest this weekend, he was 84, was in the navy during WWII, then went to the air force and retired their. but i love the wriet up they put on the card for his funeal.



A Veteran is someone who, at one point, wrote a blank check made payable "The United States of America for an amount up to and including their life."



That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.



rest in peace papa we will still sevre in the armed forces and carry on for our country.

Henry, my condolences are with you. I feel as if I feel your pain.

My dad is in the hospital with stage 4 cancer through out his body.

He is 84 and was in the navy,in the pacific WW2.

Sorry for your loss, a papa (or granddaddy in my case) is someone you will always miss. I preached my granddaddy's funeral and man was it hard.
