Just before shredding a bunch of my gas receipts I inputted them in the MPG log. I'm disappointed I'm averaging only 16mpg during city and highway driving; I was hoping I'd be around 18mpg after a few mods. As I've learned, being easy on the gas and keeping it below 2000rpms during acceleration will bring the mileage up...but let's get real!
I have an 04, XLT prm, 4.10LS, A.R.E. tonneau, stock wheels and tires at 32/34psi F/R.
Performance mods include:
Volant cold-air intake
Flowmaster DF 50 exhaust (stock pipes)
XCal2 using reg octane tune
I just thought I'd share. BTW, my ST has been running great!
