I know it's nothing big but just got done putting new lights in my gauge cluster. I didn't like the fact that the Odometer and Trip Counter showed white while the rest of the gauges were green. So $9 later and a trip to Walmart to get 194G lights, I've got everything green.

What do you think? IMO not bad for the $9.

BTW... Is it hard to get back there? I have an annoying rattling when my tach hits 2000 RPMs. I was wondering if getting in there with a couple of shots of WD40 would solve that?

Kuya, You're not hearing the "PCM rattle" are you? Do a search, that might be what you're hearing.

Fred, I did a search and it might also be the cruise control cable. The sound is right on que accelerating into 2000 RPMs. It will only make that sound as I push on the gas and the tach moves up to 2000, no noise as the RPMs drop past 2000 with my foot off the gas.



Be it the Cruise control or PCM, I tried to search the forums and seem to come up empty handed as far as getting physically back there to diagnose.



I guess it dosen't help much that I have no idea what the cable or the PCM looks like either. Please Advise.

Kuya, look in the projact section for cleaning the PCM. I'm still trying to get someone to put a picture up for the cruise control cable fix myself. I've got the same problem. No worries about the thread.
