Before all the boutique fuel requirements from the EPA and the push to put 10% ethanol in unleaded gas...Ammaco used to sell a premium unleaded that was known as White Gas. Before all the gas changes, I used to just buy that for my camping gear.

Now, you can find it in Wal-Mart and other stores as Coleman Lantern Fuel (also for use in any other unleaded gas camping equipment). Just look for the red and silver can.

I pay the premium price because I value my snowblower pretty much the same reason I run Mobil 1 in the ST. It's reliable.

Thanks for everyone's help.

Removed & cleaned the carb and all fuel lines. Started on the first pull. As good as new.

Also added some fuel stablizer to my gas.

;)

I've got an old snowblower too! Mine is a 30-year old Jacobsen 2-cycle.

It runs like new! Always starts on the second pull.

Drain the gas or use Stabil.

Yeah, choke it and prime it a few times. First pull you hear it fire. Open choke 1/2 way and it starts on second pull. (I admit, you gotta dance quickly with the choke to keep it running for the first 30 seconds!)
