I know, it's not the best, but it worked like a charm. at home down with the flu, snowing like crazy outside, i already had the door panels off, and the speakers removed. i had dynamated the area around the speaker opening as well. then i hit the forum and find ut that i either cut the facotry harness, or go out and buy adapters.
with time on my side a silly idea came to mind. i hacked off the black plug on the factory speaker, checked for negative and positive wires, and soldered it onto the new speakers - direct plug-in! simple installation, and sounds awesome!
