I went and picked up a 63' F100 this weekend. Its my new project car.It was my granpa's then it was my Dad's and then back to my Grandpa. I called him up one day and he said I could take it. Ive always wanted an old school Ford Pickup and it is my dream Truck. But dont worry im keeping the ST and I am still going to work on it too.:D......Tell me what you think.

It has a 351 Windsor in it with about 25K, and a FMX auto tranny.

That's awesome! Nothing like family tradition!:D

My great-grandfather had an old Chevy I wanted so bad to fix up, but I never got it :(

nice!!! im trying to talk my wife into letting me get an old bronco 66-77, for a project car. things are looking pretty good for me right now. good luck with your new project.

That's awesome!! I was wondering when you were going to post it here! I'm looking for a '29 closed cab (Walton truck) or around a 40's-56 F-100 as a project truck later on.

Thanks guys! Im very fortunate for my grandpa to just give it to me and that he kept it in good condition. Ill keep yall updated, but its gonna take me a while :D. but cant wait til im done.

I always hate getting done with projects like that. But then again, there always seems to be alittle more I can do...lol.

Lol, that engine bay looks to be in the same condition as my project Camaro. At least it has a new Dayco belt

Oh nice nice!!!! Boodro, not much body work which is gooooood and well I know that engine is gonna sparkle! Can't wait to see the finished project!

Make your Grandpa and Dad proud, as I am sure you already do! :)

Nice truck there! I'm thinking that it would look awesome in that Orange Frost color if yo decide you want to tinker with another color!;)

Cool! Looks like its in great shape. I like those wheel wells. Good Luck!

That's SWEET!

Someday I want to get the car my wife had new in high school: '69 Chevelle SS (yeah, she is 10 years older than me-- I had the Pinto in high school...)

What motor was in it orignaly. The 351 windsor wasnt out in '63 to my knowledge.

Then the V8 was the FE block, 352,390,406 and late '63 the 427...

Yah the color isnt my favorite ethier, Orang frost would look nice, but im really set on getting it Jet black.

Eddie- I beleive the originals for the 63's was the 262. The Winsdor was the early 70's.
