05 ST 176K miles......
Dead on the side of the highway ><

& as Always, the wife was using the truck..... ( I was home)

She said there was a Thud & soon after, grey smoke pouring out of the front.

Couldnt see underneath as I pulled it as far over as I could, into some high grass.
No reverse & Barely moved when I pulled it over more.

Trans dipstick blew upwards, shooting fluid all over the engine, which is what caused the smoke.
State trooper said as soon as I started to move the truck, it just pissed fluid out of the bottom.....
Looked back, nice puddle of dark fluid.......
WAS red last time I checked it~!.....

Any input on what could have happened?
Just curious as it doesnt matter.
going to be going to the junk yard now.

Assuming Something exploded.

No sense getting bothered by it then

Dont have the money to replace the trans, so I am just going to rent a trailer & take it to the junk yard ($780 offer)
That money is needed more now.

I'll get another ST in the future.
But SADLY, an 07 or newer.
Love the 1st gen looks, but this is the Second 1st gens trans to shit the bed.
So, FK em!

What I am going to do tho
Take the bed cover off & sell that.
Junk yard offer didnt include any accessories

Well, Uhaul didnt have any trailers, even tho their site said they did.
At least got it off the highway..... who knows what else would be gone if i didnt~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ONE F"ING DAY on the side of the highway & some pieces of gutter trash stole the Cat........

Reserved a trailer for Monday tho.
Just hope those pieces of Trash didnt cost me $$ on the offer I was given...

Its the explorer that would be the one on the trailer.
will be a dodge ram the trailers attached to.
