My vacation....

Well, back at work after my week off and let me tell ya, couldn't wait to get back to work. I know it sounds sick and I'm not usually like that, but this really was a bad one from the start.



I was hoping to finish siding my house. (I've been doing it every spare minute I have since the beginning of summer) All I had to do was finish the Facia and do the trim around the garage doors. Well, Sat. morning my father-in-law came out to help and ended up falling off the roof. I took him to the hospital I work at and luckily didn't break anything. He's 61 (but VERY fit) and one hell of a lucky man. He knew he was going off and actually jumped to clear the cement steps under him and landed on his feet in my yard and then went down on his left butt cheek. My wife and I have been taking care of him and making sure he doesn't need anything. So I got maybe a couple of hours to do some work to the house and hopefully can get it done the next weekend I'm off. (of course without his help)



The onlt fun thing I did when I was off was to go see a Pittsburgh Pirates game. They beat the Brewers that night.



So, needless to say, I'm glad to see this vacation end.

House work sucks.... Just finished 800 feet of wire pulling, and installing a new circuit panel..

Thanks Todd. Yeah, I wish I was still renting. Nah, I like to work on it but it seems like every project I try to do, seems to be a fiasco. (especially when I have to deal with Lowes)
