Looks like Ford has finally got around to fixing their Myford Touch and SYNC.
Up to 300,000 vehicles scheduled for the upgrade.
Update 20 Mar....
Got the upgrade for my 2012 Explorer in the mail today....takes 1-2 hours to install. Ford
suggests 1-2 hour idle while it is upgrading (no way) or drive it around for 1-2 hours. I'll
do the latter......or, I can take it to a dealer and they will let it idle in the parking lot
for 1-2 hours. What a crappy way to do business.....didn't even offer to pay for the fuel
a vehicle will suck up during the upgrade. Built Ford Tough......
