I recently purchased a used bed extender from eBay, and now I need the mounting brackets. Where are these available (online)? Or does anybody know the part number to help me in my search?

Thanks!

You need the pivot pins ????

T-45 or T-50 torx bit is needed to install...

They are part number W-707381-S900. About $8.00 each from ford.

Like Todd said, you need the pivot pins, there are no mounting brackets for the bed extender. The pins just go through the center of the extender into the bed wall and allow the extender to swing into and out of the bed.

skaliwag go to fordpartsfast.com and order them from there. thats where i got mine last year.. ask rusty to order them he will help you for what you need.. good luck... i paid a ruff 40 dollars for them check them out..

The cage has two pins on it already. They have an "in" and an "out" position, but when fully extended they are still not extended enough to attach to anything in the bed. Pivot pins? I'll go looking for those. Thanks for the suggestions.

I special-ordered some hardware, but what I got are threaded bolts. The inserts in the bed are smooth. Did I get the right type of pin? Should I expect to tap out the inside of those smooth inserts when I force the pivot bolts in there? Or is there some other type of pivot pin I'm looking for?

In case anyone is looking for this answer in the future ... the pivot pins are SCREWS, and self-tap into the smooth shafts in the bed. Just make sure not to over-tighten them.

Thanks to everyone's help in this forum!
