Need Help Choosing Color 07 XLT

Is there any way we could get members to post pics of theie 07s in this thread so we could see some real world truck colors. I'm about to buy an 07 XLT and having a tough time picking a color, I went through some members pics to get some ideas but I'm still undecided.

The dealers in my area have a limited selection of choices, mainly blacks, silver birch, white. I'm leaning toward Dark Stone I think. I'll be placing my order to be built shortly.

Options I'll be ordering include, moonroof, rear sliding window, V6, upgraded power seats, appearance package, convenience package, tow package, leather steering wheel, and thats about it.

All help is much appreciated......Post those pics please. :unsure::unsure::unsure:

If they are good ones pics may help..But nonthing beats seeing The colors in person in the sunlight, JMO..

rich, here is my dark stone 07 lmtd V-8 with almost every option. if you are going for those options on an xlt, you may want to consider the limited. fast eddie is right, seeing it in person is the best, as i was undecided on the colour until i saw the dark stone.

btw, forget the sales brouchure, as they really don't represent the real colour.

Wow, I had pinned your pic to my desktop before I made the original post. Beautiful truck by the way. I would love to see all the different colors in the sunlight but the dealers around me must think black is the only color people will buy. There are very few dealers with any sort of variety. I guess I could go to a Ford dealer and see the colors on different vehicles.

I must say that your truck looks great again, what a difference between the two pics though. It almost looks like two different trucks.

I also have an XPlan pin so I'm gonna see if I can build a Limited for a decent price too. I'll be sure to let you know what I do decide because I'll be coming bact to post all my hootin and hollering.

Wow, you guys are great. All of your trucks are BEAUTIFUL. I also like the Dark Cherry Metalic, in fact my mother in law had a beautiful 06 Explorer Eddie Bauer in the same color. I picked it up from the dealer in PA brand new and drove it home for her to NY.

She shortly thereafter decided it was too large and got a smaller and in my mind no comparison Mariner. Just an Escape rebadged, what a downgrade but it suits her purpose.

I built a Limited and with the V8 and moonroof, tow package, and leather wrapped wheel it came out not too much more than the XLT with the V6 and similar options.

I just wanted to say thanks to you all and I'll be posting when I order. I can track it as it's being built and letting the excitment build.

My first choice was the Blue also, it's so hard to make up my mind. Nice pics of all these trucks though. At least I can show my wife and get her impression too. She kind of leaning toward the Dark Stone also.b You guys will certainly find out when I make up my mind.

I've had black trucks for years... When I got this one, I decided I'd only get blue, stone, or black.

Most of the trucks had the "Camel" interior, which I hate. I lucked into the deal on this blue one and since then, I've fallen in love with the color.

Mark: My Dark Cherry trac looks nowhere near as nice as yours. I thought I would really like the Dark Cherry color, but even cleaned and waxed, mine looks like a boring dark burgundy. It doesn't have the "cherry" zing that yours has. I don't like my dark cherry--wish I would have gotten the fire red. (wish Ford would bring back the Toreador red).

Rich, I have the silver birch 07 Limited.The MKZ next to it is also the same color sorry pic is not great as its 12:45 am. I will post a better one in daylight Sat eve.

My wife has a Silver Birch Explorer, so I can't possibly have two of the same color in the driveway. She might take mine..LOL

Great thread this has become thanks to all of your contributions. I'll bet that it helps a lot of people. I went through the entire Owners Gallery searching for 07s, it's much nicer to have them contained in one thread.

Now where is that Carbon ST which is missing? Thanks again folks....
