What would be the best place to tap into the factory radio for some high level inputs for the sub? Is there anywhere close to the rear of the vehicle or do I need to go to the head unit. Also is there any power behind the rear seat or should I go to the battery?

U can go to a audio store and buy a HI low converter and hook it up to your rear SPK and the amp for your sub output and run the Amp wire from the BATT... then run the remote wire from the head unit to the amp

I don't need the HI low converter i already have hi level inputs on the amp. I just want to know where the best spot to tap into the wiring is. Should I go to the radio or is there someplace else closer to the rear of the truck that is closer?

You don't put highs into an amp for subs, you put lows. You still need the converter to limit what frequency is sent to the amp to keep from blowing the speakers.

The crossover is already built into the unit so puting highs into it wont be a problem. I simply need to know if there is a place in the wiring harness close to the rear or if I need to go to the head unit?
