overhead console not working

I have a 2002 Sport trac and the only item not working is the console with direction and temperature. I have a moonroof and it appears a little more difficult to remove than non moonroof vehicles. Once I have it removed who repairs these circuit boards? Need some advice on how to take down and who to send it too.

I have a 2004 and same thing. I did it myself with a soldering iron. Pretty simple actually. I think I watched a youtube video. Not sure which one, but a guy waylon4.0 on YouTube has done anything you can imagine to a sport trac, it's in Spanish, but just put captions on and you can just read it. I've gotten lots of useful things from that guy. Guessing in Texas or mexico?

I did it myself also. Loose 510 pancake resistors. My thread on the forum is Fixing Overhead console. Good luck.

Just don't yank too hard the resistor goes flying, Hopefully it stays in there, Simple solder job.
