Need help with wiring

UPS just dropped off my cd player and I started to connect the wiring harness and adapter together and I am having a problem. There is not a wire on the adapter for mute or system remote control. I know that the long black wire that is on the harness for the cd player is the ground wire and is connected to the vechile body, but on the adapter there are 2 black wires. The solid black wire says it is to be connected to the chassis ground. Do I connect it to the black wire on the recievers harness and connect both to the body?Th other wire is black with a white strip and says it is to be connected to the signal ground, but written on the wire it says Amp Ground. If I am not connecting a amp, what do I connect this to?

connect both black and black with white stripe to ground......... the black on the vehicle side harness....... and the blue wire will hook to blue with white from pioneer. the mute wire is only for if you are using a handsfree cellphone kit in the vehicle. doesnt need to necessarily be connected. any more questions let me know.
