I need some help deciding what I should do to upgrade my suspension. I read posts going back 9 months and have found many different options but cannot make heads or tails of all the recommendations.

I have an 04" 4X4 with 128K. Most of my driving is the freeway and city streets. I am looking to improve the street performance and handling. I do occasionally take the truck of road but not enough to worry need to take it into consideration

Thanks.

just checkin your vechile description and it seems you have done nothing to it thus far.

many will say the following:

1 shocks

2 rear sway bar

3 front sway bar

if you offroad enough u can get the quick release clamps for the sway bars so you can do whatever.

MAC,

Like TJR says plus change out the front sway bar end links to the ones from AutoZone or CarQuest (MOOG Problem Solvers part no.). Then put the Explorer Express anti-sway bar on the rear; add 1-1/4" wheel spacer adapters to the rear only; and add the ADDCO front anti-sway bar. If you want to play the how it rides you can go to extra expense of getting Rancho RS9000X, with or w/o the in cab controller. :D

I agree with the Shocks and sway bars...

The only thing I would add is a set of rear wheel spacers. 1.25 inch, that would complete the package...

I just did 4 new Sensa Trac shocks, the Addco front sway bar and the Explorer Express rear sway bar. Rides like a totally different truck, not just better.

BTW, the Addco front sway bar comes with new endlinks similar to the Moogs (with steel spacer tubes instead of plastic). I did not know this, and now I have a set of Moog endlinks for sale.
