Has anybody found a current source for the tie-down delete kit , 2010 Sport-trac ??

Lowering kits ??

Appearance customizing?

How are the nameplates and ornaments attached to the tailgate ??

Thank you all , we're a newby at this , jim p .

WELCOME !!!

Steeda I believe makes it, For the F150 flair or step side, Fits ST

Lowering is done by special custom made springs. Can only go so far due to the axle through the frame design.

Appearance?? Such as? Body kits?? none. Lights, None.... unless you convert to Adrenalin or Iron man package

I believe the emblems are 2 face tape and bolted. Some leave holes in the body when removed.

Hi Jim, welcome as well! 2nd Gen Sport Trac parts are really hard to come by. You have to be creative and cross-reference parts that fit on a regular Explorer or have parts made. You can do stuff like LED light conversions, fit up to a 22"x9.5(37 offset or so) wheel with 285/35-22 tires. I made my own 2" drop springs(you could go 3", but check clearance of the half-shafts in the back) and someone a while back had some made up(don't know where they are!). The tailgate is full of "locating" holes for the emblems which are on with 3M tape. No hope of cleaning that up unless you want to get into bodywork. No headers are made that fit the V8, but you can do a true dual exhaust, I did. Forget hoods with scoops of any kind, you have to make one up on your own. Someone makes up sub-woofer enclosures(supertrucksound.com?, not sure). Not sure what engine you have, but you can do a bit with the V8. Heads, cams, intake manifold, etc. Check fastpartsdirect.com, they are a Ford performance parts retailer. I lost my '08 in the hurricane here in 2012, but recently went to NC and bought a used 2010 Adrenalin. Doing mods now, may get into the engine this time! Good luck, have fun and stop in for any help you need. Bob

nice brake calipers , might i inquire the cost ??

What about billet grilles ?? for the Adrenalin ??

My 1st stop was my friendly muffler guy , and installed a resonator "delete" pipe , sounds better , at almost no cost .

Dissapointed to find my 2010 has only the "little" trailer hitch , dang ,,, what do i have to do to tow 4500 lbs 3 or 4 times a year , for 500 miles ?? thanks again ,,,, jp
