Need to locate a tranny for a friend...

Told a friend at work about our parts guy on here (forgive me, I can't remember which

one of you it is, right now:wacko.

Needs a manual 5-sp. tranny for an '89 Jeep Wrangler, 4-cylinder engine, 2 wheel drive, and

I believe he said it had the Asian (Aisin?) gearbox...Can't find one locally, and he said

finders fees and shipping were to be expected. Any help?

Oh---you meant Transmission... Not that I know where you could find what I was thinking... :blink:



Ebay usually has transmissions. Have you checked there yet??

Yes, he said that he had. I was hopin' our guy with the salvage/junkyard connection
