New experiance today

It's snowing like crazy right now and the intersections are a skating rink! Today when I was stopped at a Red Light I had my foot on the brake as you normally would. I guess I didn't have it pressed hard enough and the back tires started to break loose while the front ones were still locked. Because the back tires were slipping and the front were not the 4X4 kicked in. Kinda scared me at first but then I realized what had happened. I didn't move forward or anything, just a louder than normal thud when it engaged.



Thought it was an interesting scenario, just though I would share that.

I have had that happen on mustangs and other cars before..... The drive wheels over powered the brakes....



It is scary...
