new nerf bars

Getting tired of removing, sanding, painting my rusty nerf bars. Another winter and the rust is bleeding back through.



Decided to take the plunge on what appear to be a moderately priced set of side steps. Made of aluminum billet so as long as the finish holds up I will not have to deal with rusting.



I'll post some picks after the install and to comment on the fit and finish.

Why not SS. Aluminum will corrode and pit in salted winter streets.

I have stainless....havent sanded anything in 8years

I was trying to keep the price reasonable. What brand/price did you pay for yours and are they black stainless?



I am looking to get black to match the rest of my trim but really like the wide flat shape of these particular step bars but an not adverse to looking at alternatives.



Anything is better than the stock ones at this point.

mine are chrome. Came with the ST Adrenalin when I bought it
