New Plates

I know a lot of you have the personalized plates. I'm finally going to get a set for my ST. I didn't want to rush into it, I bought the ST new in July 2000. My ST has the American Eagle flaming flag decals on it, picture in my library. I am getting "EGL ST". I won't get it till December since I waited till my license was due and didn't want to waste money on a plate I'd only use a month or two

? at the dmv here when i purchased my plates years ago i thought they let me pay pro rata. i think u can get em now sooner than later.

mine was pro rated...I paid for it for 4 mos, then renewed for a full year on my B-day.

They pro rate them here in Texas too....mine are on their way

I thought so too, or maybe the person I talked to didn't know any better. I think the thing was I had to have it licensed now and it would take at least 6 weeks to get the other. The reg. plates are $21.00, the personalized ones are $46.00, so i decided to wait. One way or another I will still have an ST when December gets here, my 01 or a new one.
