OK, I did a few mods right before I left in May, and never had a chance to take pictures of them. First, I created new skins for Frodoplayer. They are designed to look like the Enterprise NX-01 screens to go with my desktop design (in my library).

Here is the custom main screen

And here's the main menu

I also added 35% tint to the front windows. They are 3M smoke.

And lastly (for now) The new plate says it all.

Agreed, it does look good. Tint on the front makes all the difference in the world. I want to get 35% on my windshield; don't know how that'd fly with the cops around here.

Ryan, Rob thanks for helping me put this project together and having it turn out so good! I hardly ever get in the Trac without firing up the PC. Ryan, the console is holding up really well to the daily "abuse" I give it  Thanks!

Jeff, as far as the tint goes, 35% makes a world of differance, but I still would've rather gone down to 20% to match the back windows. As for the windshield, I don't think you'd be able to get away with it for too long. Boodro's is tinted, but I think he has a waiver for it.

-Just wait till she's ridin' 3 inches lower and sporting a hoodscoop!-

I would like to see your comp. setup Larry. Would love to have one for myself. I don't know if you were talking about my tint, but I don't have a waiver (which I should), but the cops havnt given me any trouble yet :D. See yah at the meet.

PC in the Trac? I need some more info. I checked the pics in your library and I love the design and I am interested in doing something simular. Can the PC be linked with a GPS and do NAV? Does it have a CD ROM or other drive? USB maybe? Please let me know. If this system works the way I hope it does it will be perfect for doing search and rescue work.

Thanks man,

Cliff

I don't see why it cant. In fact, I think Rob had GPS on it before he sold it to me. It has a DVD/CD-R drive on it, along with 4 USB ports. It's an Industrial Flower Factory Sunflower series Bronze mini-ITX tower. It sits right behind the drivers seat when the back seats are down. The custom console was created by Ryan Eylander which houses a Lilliput 7in widescreen touchscreen monitor with VGA and RCA video hookups and a USB touchscreen from Digitalww.com.

Also if you are looking for search and rescue applications and options, check out Ken R's page at www.mysporttrac.net. His is virtually a "mobile command post".
