New to me F250

Hi all,

I haven't posted in awhile because I get most of my answers by lurking.



As the title says I have added a new vehicle to my ford lineup and would like to find out what it came with from the factory. So can someone run the vin and get the window sticker print out for me.

It can be posted here for me to read if that is possible.

Hope all is well with the familly. I bet the kids are getting big.



A while back, someone posted a Ford website that listed options that came on the vehicle. Do a search for it. As for getting a window sticker, that may not be possible.

This may be all you can get on a 1999.



It does have an outstanding recall on the cruise switch. Disconnect the switch now and get it done ASAP.

Hi tom,

The getting big is unreal it's as if they are growing an inch a month.

So far I have them under control though, because I can still out run them.(towards or away)



I searched some last night for a window sticker look up and couldn't find a good site.

The place I bought it from said to get a hold of a dealer and they might be able to do it.

I got just one key. Dealer didn't know if it had remote entry or not.

And it doesn't appear to be a pats key.

This is the window sticker site but it, as is the case in OASIS & FordEtis (http://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleRegSelector.do) , runs 10 years back.

Chad,



To know if it has keyless entry, try the following.



Turn the ignition on and off like 10 times. If the doors lock and then unlock, you have keyless entry. If they don't, then you don't.

I made it to five turns and then the doors locked and unlocked.

So if this means I have remote entry I will see if the local salvage yard has

some ford fobs I can reprogram.

Try to program you ST fob. If it works, you are set. You ST will not know another vehicle uses that same code.

Great idea. I don't use the trac fob anyway.



The manual read to turn the key eight times but ended up working after

five turns. Locks and unlock just fine now with the fob.
