So I just picked up a 01 sport trac job 2 about a week ago and loving it so far. This is basically my winter vehicle since I own a new dodge challenger(sorry mustang people). I feel the st needs more power since it is bone stock and has 100k miles on it. i figure ill do the cai and a cat back but is there anything else i can do that's safe with this many miles? Any special tricks that I should know? Any easy must do mods? Ive been looking around on this site for a few days and have learned a bunch already but anymore help would be appreciated. Ive been on here more than my challenger forum and look forward to being around for awhile. Thanks

IMO, upgrading the stock suspension should be a priority with the Gen 1.

Assuming you have already changed the OEM tires and shocks being a 2001.

My best change was lowering with a 3/2 drop and a larger rear sway bar.

Hard to use extra power with suspension designed for comfort. Check link below.

:haveabeer:Thanks for the welcomes and info! I'm gonna do shocks this week, been reading up seeing what's a good option. As for tires it has bfg long trails. Since it is my winter ride I don't plan on lowering it.
