I want to thank everyone for thier help!!! I finally got Norton off the computer and put AVG back on and my computer is back to the performance it was before all this CRAP!!! I am finally felling comfortable about it for the first time since last Fri. when all this went down.

To any that want to know how to get rid of Norton Internet Security and SPEED UP your computer, go to symentec.com and do a search for the type of product you have. ( like "remove Norton Internet Security 2005") and luckily there is a removal tool on there. Otherwise it would take you forever to remove it manually. I downloaded the program (free) and removed it in about 3 minutes.

My boot time is back to even faster than it was before doing the reboot and my internet is faster than it was with Norton on there. What a system hog!!!

Again, thanks to all for the help and sorry to be suck a pest with all the posting of questions. This one had me pretty stumped.;)

Glad to hear you got it fixed! Personally, I only use 1 anti-virus because using more than that is basically redundant. They are both attempting to block out the same stuff and when you add a product like Norton with it's different securities for firewalls, passcodes, personal info, etc. it now is an integral part of the OS, not to mention the fact that it slows your system down to insure your not letting anything malacious in because you've assigned it some many different tasks, and adding another antivirus program throws it off. It's set to protect against any and all intruders and another program attempting to download onto any part of the OS is considered a threat. When you continue to attempt downloading, Norton will lock up on you and you may end up having to reinstall the entire OS. I keep 3 anti-spyware programs, 2 of which are free, because they tend to update against that stuff at diferent times. Also try at least once a month to run all your protection software in safe mode. That will help kill any lingering pests.

Deryck, I only had one on there to begin with. I was using AVG till something happened and it wouldn't update. When I tried to redowload the program again it wouldn't let me due to the fact it was already there. Also I couldn't get it to uninstall due to the missing uninstaller file. Sweet. Anyway, when I rebooted my system it put Norton back on and then I couldn't get it off. Long story short, the programs I have are: AVG Antivirus, Adware SE, Spybot S&D, and CCleaner.;)
