not sure if the 4.0 can handle it. i recall todd z saying something like that, but then again i could be wrong! try a search, im sure someone who knows more will chime in

There are 2 members with NOS.... Both small WET kits....

The 4.0 can take it if done 100% correctly, But with out the proper fuel pressure and tuning the 4.0 will blow up faster than the Tranny does !!!!!

thinking of a 10lb wet shot

How much power is that.

A friend was running a 75 HP wet NX kit on his 1998 ZX2. He would run about 5 bottles a summer and put over 120,000 miles on it.

I see no problem with a 75 HP wet kit in the Sport Trac...if done correctly.

p.s. NOS is a trade name for Nitrous Oxide Systems. NX is the trademark name for Nitrous Express.

If set up properly I don't see why running a 50 or 75 shot would cause any problems. Again that comes back to the owner fully understanding what is exactly involved when you do this and having the vehicle calibrated properly.

Take care,
