Bydgoszcz: Find and listen to someone who snores badly. They'll say it eventually.

Well, first, my daughter won't come over until the end of the school year. She is with her mom in KY until I settle into a home and my furniture and vehicle arrive. She is excited about coming here.

For the proper pronunciation, watch the following video (they say it about a hundred times). The Poles apparently don't like Vowels. :)

Wow that video makes it look like a very nice place to live. But then thats what the video is for. Keep us informed Nelson on the real deal, quality of life, amenities and such.

So far what I have enjoyed most is the cheap food. I could eat out at a nice Olive Garden-type restaurant every meal and spend less than $20/day. Now if I could just pronounce those items on the menu, I'd be set. :D

I think I am getting the crash course now. The language isn't easy for me. I took four semesters of Russian in college which is very similar. That is good. What is bad is that if I accidentally speak Russian to a Pole, it can be offensive, since the Poles are not very friendly towards them for obvious reasons. Many of the words are similar, so I am spending a lot of time just listening now. It is very tiring...
