Hello MyST'ers



Question, I bought a new O2. Downstream sensor from Amazon and to me it looks used, please see the pic, are they supposed to look like this new. Thanks peeps.....

Certainitly looks used to me. I have seen them slightly burnished from welding. In that pic it looks like someone tried cleaning exhaust carbon off of it. Does the gasket looked crushed?

Notice the weld on the side of your fingers. Very little discoloration.

What brand is it? Maybe a local parts store will let you compare it...

If it came from amazon stock they wouldnt' know the difference, if returned.

A parts supplier would and wouldnt' take it back.

RockAuto "usually" uses manufacturer pics of products and will specify when they're not. Airtex replacement?

Its a Bosch part, the rest of the part is super clean. Very wierd, gotta snother one coming tomorrow :) Ill post a pic of that one two .....
