OEM Wheel/Tire size

I am thinking of purchasing some 16x8 American Racing Mojave wheels. I want to know if they will fit my current Wrangler RTS tires on the current stock wheels. I will be purchasing new/different tires later but I cant afford to do it all at once. Thanks for your help.

What's the specs on your current tires. I think the stock ST tires are 235 size, but when I got rid of my stock Firestones because of the recall and that whole ordeal, they put on 255/70/16. You need to know the width of your current tire to know if a 8" wide wheel will fit. Go look for the numbers on the tires and you'll get an answer rather quickly.

My tires are the stock wrangler RT/S at 255/70/16

Your stock 255's will fit those rims ok....the 8" rim will pull the sidewall out alittle more...you may have to up the up the air pressure so the tread will wear even..but maybe not....

My tires are 255/70R16's, your 8 inch rims would fit. I am thinking of going to a larger size rim also. I am thinking of putting on 285/60R16 tires.

OEM's are 16X7's. You will have no problem at all.
