hey everyone..quick question...as everyone knows, the snow is crazy up here in Connecticut... so i get up this morning to leave EMS go to start the S/T and had to punch it a little to get it going..kept it at about 2k rpm to get it warmed up...so it got warmed up and when i took my foot off it died...went back inside left about 10 min later..same thing..started it back up threw it into gear and everything was fine...

question i have is, is this the dreaded IAC motor and the elbow??

Sounds like you holding your foot on the gas tricked the computer as how to run the truck...

You can clean the Iac as a preventative measure and see if your elbow is cracked, But i think it was holding your foot on the gas that did it..

Yep, sounds EXACTLY like the IAC prob.
