The wife and I got a late invite to the NASCAR race in Charlotte this weekend. Been there before, a few of the usual crowd couldn't make this one. I'll be on the roof of a motorhome inside Turn 4, watch for me.

My wife won tickets from a local radio station for tickets to the "Monster Bridge" at Dover Raceway! I'm not a NASCAR fan (dragracing for me!) but what a treat! The "Bridge" goes across the track and is used mostly to shmooze DuPont VIPs I think. While we were there on Friday (about a month ago) in walks about 9 guys from the crab fishing boats (Deadliest Catch)! Then on Saturday R. Lee Ermey showed up (the Marine from tv show Mail Call & the movie Full Metal Jacket). Oh, there was racing too!!
