My wife and my children make fun of me but the more I get to "know" my ST the more I love it. I have had my 2004 for about 18 months now and each day I just flat out fall more in love. I have the bottom of the line ST Ford would sell me. I have hauled 8th grade cheerleaders, branches, driven it in the ice when my wife's convertible couldn't make, and even drug engines to the dump with it (see picture) and it just gets better. It is going to be my daughter's in another 12 months I had thought I would buy me a new Mustang GT when the time came but I gotta tell you I am seriously looking at the 2007 when that time comes because I always need a 'pickup' for something. So who was the genius at Ford that came up with the ST to begin with? Kudos to them! - Art

Ditto, I had thought that this would be the vehicle to last me till I could get something else, but I can honestly say that I will probably get another one when I'm due for a new vehicle. Just love the versatility of it.;)

I use my Trac all the time as a truck. Anything from a load of dirt (2300 LBS or so) to a load of turkeys.

I don't know how I survived without one.

My wife has noted that I seem to dote on my ST more than any other vehicle I have owned. As long as it never gets down to a decision between her or the Trac, I don't see an issue.

Ditto here too. We have an '01 job 1 (bottom of line with canvas bag) with over 100k. We wanted the manual tranny. We are shooting for another 100k or more. Check profile for mods. :D:D:D

edit: Almost forgot; love this site, too.

It's nice to know that I'm not the only one totally infatuated with my truck, not that this website hasn't pointed out that several times. He is 'my boy'. Most of my friends and family refer to my truck by his name, Junior. He is perfect for us. Just enough truck. We bought a very basic model as well, 4x2, no cruise (but we added it) and a manual tranny....which to us was a huge selling point. We've done alot to him to make him unique and have no plans to get ride of him anytime soon. We will be buying a larger truck in the next year or so, but it won't be my daily driver. It'll be the "FiFi Hauler"...FiFi would be the boat.

Yep, the Trac is the most versatile vehicle I've ever owned and, so far, the most reliable. I never thought that I would use it as a truck as often as I do. Better yet, hauls the family around in comfort too. Great for going to a lake with 5 people, a small boat in the bed and a full load of picnic goodies. I think I will have this truck for a long, long time.

Make that me too! My 2001 has 118,989 (s)miles on it. It is in the process of getting a "newsed" (new/used) tranny installed, but I have no complaints except that it never gave me any symptoms of trouble (sigh) before.

Okay, so my horn went out, then the driver side door speaker, then the thingy with the left turn signal/wiring harness fault, but all in all, I wouldn't trade it, sell it, or part with it! I am waiting for the 07 ST' Adrenalin to hit the street later next year! Bryan Olsen, the ST Brand Manager, whom I met and talked with at the unveiling of the 07' ST at the State Fair of Texas in September of 2005, said it will emerge around the fall of 2006. When Pressed for more details about the look of it, he shied away from giving any details as to how much it will resemble the ST Concept that was shown at certain auto shows earlier this year. LOL to all, and a Merry/Happy Christmas Holiday to all ST'ers.

I find my ST to be the perfect compliment to my '94 Jeep Wrangler. Based upon the weather report I choose which to drive. Have to take the ST if I have to cart both kids (6 yrs & 6 mos) around.
