There is a plant in South Africa that does it. A friend of mine did some NDT there. He called the plant "Sessel Fossil Fuels" He spoke with a South African accent so I don't know how it is spelled or if it is really pronounced that way. His accent was sometimes confusing.

Thought One:

Chernobyl...

Thought Two:

If Digital is superior to Analog, why not convert our emergency-services

frequencies to digital, and let us keep our analog t.v. sets?

Again, my eyes are not good enough to "See 'the sweat on a football player's

brow' from 50 yards!", as was put one way on the rush to sell Digital T.V.s.

But I would like to know our Firefighters, Police, and other Emergency Personnel

have a reliable way to communicate with each other!

tracnblack,

Chernobyl scares you? It was the USSR for crying out loud. Do you know how much cleaner and reliable Nuclear power is? Using that logic, we shouldn't fly because it is more dangerous then having a Nuclear Power Plan next door. You drive. Did you know you have a higher chance of dying in a car crash then you do in a plane crash. A nuclear power plant is safer then a plane.

A coal burning power plan is dangerous. I know of a few coal burning plants that have exploded causing masny deaths. The don't even make the paper.
