:D Sorry everyone....I had to start one about the Superbowl winners!!!!! Please remember I am from Evansville, INDIANA....no it's not Indianapolis, but it is at least Indiana....LOL

AND how about those commercials.....My favorite had to be the Snickers candy bar one! :D

Snickers candy bar made me cringe..........

MVP to Manning was a farce--- should have went to the RB's Rhodes or Addai

Good game for the most part, if I was a Bears fan I would have went balistic with the way Grossman ended the game, a TD pass turned into an INT by throwing up a hanger!!!

The colts did come to play, no doubt about that.



The Snickers bar commercial was just wrong. I cringed as well. There is just something about two men kissing that makes my skin crawl.



That said, I will not forget the commercial.... LOL

Snickers commercial was a joke and should have never made it. Maybe the gay community liked it but I thought it was stupid and gross.



I liked the rock/paper/scissors ad for Bud Light:cool:. Not a drinker but the ad was funny. That ad could have worked for any beer or soda.
 
I was glad the Colts won the super bowl. Since the Texans beat the Colts back in December it technically means the Texans are the best football team in the NFL. ;)

It was one over the very few memorable commercials this year. I thought most of the commercials were very forgettable and lame.



Also, I doubt the gay community is celebrating the commercial. Though it did do a very good job of pointing out the insecurity that many men have when it comes to their sexuality; kinda like this thread.

A few of the ads got a chuckle out of me but most were pretty mild and nothing memorable.

Big D...I personally don't "like" seeing men kiss...in other words, it's not my preferred form of entertainment. But it's much less of a cringe thing for me than many men.



I know quite a few men that have absolutely no problem seeing two girls kiss, but if they see two men doing the same they freak out. I don't get that at all. I think that DOES speak volumes about their sexual insecurities....if that makes me and Dr. Phil have something in common, then so be it. I'm not the "freak out" kind of guy. Heck, I even saw Brokeback Mountain in the theater.



Go ahead, threaten to take away my "man card".



I found the commercial memorable and funny. Besides, the point I was trying to make, is that the commercial was clearly about men's sexual insecurities, thus the whole "Do something manly" acts after the "kiss". The commercial recognized that for the many of the blue-collar type men that wrench on cars there clearly is that insecurity. Now, on a truck enthusiast site we seem to be debating it exists???? Ponderous.

Come on TJR, when I see spiders I cringe... I cringe at things I don't like and think are gross and one of them happens to be MEN kissing MEN.... Women kissing women is something I like so I don't cringe..;)

That commercial was funny. Nothing gay about it.



Anyone thinking that was for the gay community is, IMO, wrong. The part that made me cringe is the chest hair being pulled out. Man, that would hurt. The rest of the commercial was funny.

I doubt there were many people in the US outside of Chicago that were surprised by the outcome. Grossman will be a great quarterback when he can start showing up to every game, not just one every now and then. Chicago has an awesome defense, but they can't win every game by themselves.



Watching Peyton Manning is sort of boring, just like watching a surgeon do the same procedure over and over again. He is so consistent he makes it look easy. Definitely, the best team won.



I'm not as confident in Dallas as Big D is. I'd love to see them in next year's Super Bowl, but the reality is that if T.O. is there and Parcells is gone it will be a miracle for the team to gel into a contender next year.



T.O. is like a cancer on every team he plays for. Unfortunately, the root of the Cowboy's problem lies with Jerry Jones. He won't let a coach make the decisions as far as hiring, so we wind up with showboats like T.O. that don't perform, but they do sell a few tickets. He puts business before the game, which is ALWAYS a bad thing.
