My dad works for SunGard Data Systems in Inverness in B'ham, AL. They do data recovery. I've never actually met or heard of anyone else outside his office that knows who SunGard is, lol.

We used to do our DR testing at Sunguard in Philly, no we do it at HP's facility in King Of Prussia, PA

I did DR testing (remotely) with Sunguard in Philly several years ago when I wrote the DR documentation for Kraft. Man, was that a pain in the butt.:lol:

Being one of the Unix admins, I always have to be on site, but our DBAs and Basis admins do all their work remotely. After doing these tests for the past number of years, I told my boss if we ever declared a real disaster I would be handing in my resignation! :lol:

Nah, don't work for them, just do our DR's at their sites. SunGard is pretty huge, most IT people will recognize the name one way or another. I'm stuck in the Philly site, I hate it.

True dat. Apple blew it on the battery and they STILL haven't shipped my "upgrade" battery.

True, they would require you to buy fourteen other things that you did not want and it would be really glitchy with other programs from non-MS vendors.



And it would require a driver update that you don't have on the disc and can't find on their site.



And you would have to update security patches every 3 days.



And it would get lots of popups during playback.



And you would have to upgrade your processor and hard drive to run the thing.
