I am pissed off at woot right now.



Ordered that "underwater" 35 MM camera last week for my trip to Hawaii next week. I am getting married this saturday and leave for Hawaii the following monday. Already sent them hate mail. They either ship monday or I get my money back and I will dispute the charges if I don't get it in time.



Woot says they ship within three days. It has been 5 working days and not been shipped. I figure 5 days max for shipping time and I should get it. if they wait a day or two more, then I wont get it in time. I will see what they say.

Yeah, caveat emptor on Woot shipping. All it takes is one little hiccup, and their 3 day shipping turns into 5 or 7 days, and it can be two weeks before you get your stuff.



Have fun on the honeymoon, Tom. I have't been to Hawaii for over 23 years. You will have a great time.

We got a 2 week honeymoon planned. 7 day cruise on the "Pride of Hawaii" (Ship is less then 3 months old) 4 days in Waikiki, then we are going to Commiefornia for 2 nights before we come home. While in Hawaii, Theresa and I are going to meet Kalama and her boyfriend for dinner.



We are going to have a blast.

Tom, You should have asked earlier, I had a 1 time use underwater camera sitting here on my counter for almost 4 weeks, I got it free at my pool place for buying closing chemicals early...

I could have sent it to you, but it was used up this weekend at a family party.....

Woot has been slow lately.



Within the past month, I bought the noise cancelling headphones and another day a backlit PC keyboard. Both times it took about 11 days from order to rx.

I got the backlit keyboard too, Chops. Probably won't use it for a year until I put together a system for our youngest son for X-mas 2007.

The keys have a nice feel to them, and the 'lit' part is cool, and is color selectable as you know.
