Over Head Console

So I know all about the 510 chip deal on the overhead console computer. I soldered it once and it managed to break loose again and in my attempt to clean it up I wrecked the board. I am in the need of an another. I am stationed overseas in Germany and find it hard to search the Junk Yards. Does anyone have a spare laying around I can buy off of? Just shoot me an email. Ebay is not an option. Once I start buying on ebay I dont stop ha ha. :banghead:

When you say you wrecked the board. Broken traces or???

If it is a trace. Can you use a thin jumper wire. To complete the circuit.

Also you might be able to clean up solder over flow. With a 20watt pencil iron and copper soldering wick.



Tedious, but I have done it, on other things. I also have a headset magnifier. With adjustable magnifcation.
