Does our 5R55E have an overflow vent? If so, where is it? I see tranny fluid build-up on the pan and looks to be originating where the servo is at (passenger side of pan, where the shield is).

Trac drives great but when I check the fluid (yes, normal op. temp.) it's just above the hash marks. So I'm thinking there's a little too much fluid and the trans is spewing after heat expansion. Just wondering if it's spewing through a vent near the servo or if it's leaking in the same general area.

The vent is located on the top of the tranny, Which side I do not know...

Thanks Todd. So when it does vent, its location does not allow it to drip straight to the ground? Instead will drip onto parts?
