A few days ago I posted, and people suggested that my overheating was probably a bad thermostat and/or radiator being plugged.
So I started with changing the thermostat today, with a Stant (13649) 195C thermostat, auto store said it was OE spec.
Ran it for about 5 miles, could tell coolant was flowing through the hose, got hot and you could feel the pressure, let it cool down, checked the radiator level and topped it off. Was feeling pretty good.
But, took it out again for a 10 mile ride, but this time, it really overheated fast, by the time I got back, it appears almost all of the radiator fluid transferred to my overflow tank.
I understand the radiator still could be pluged/plugging, the new thermostat not functioning or I should have bought the 180C version??,Anything else I could try?, look at. Is there any EASY way to bleed the system of air?
Thanks in advance, Tim
