Took my truck to the mechanic today. They work on tranny's a lot. I had the flashing O/D Off light yesterday, but not since.



They pulled a P0735 code, but everything looks ok.



Ideas?

Sounds like a bad shift solenoid or leaking valve body gasket.....

This is the point that some of us tried to make yesterday. Right now, the problem is intermittent. Something wrong was detetected yet it may not be wrong all the time. Remember too that the tranny is electronically shifted by an adaptive controller that may make adjustments to "correct" the fault when, in fact, the adjustments only hide the problem until it gets worse.

Tell you mechanic get it to a trusted tranny shop and have them take care of the problem.
