Package and Ship companies?

Does anyone know of any companies that will come to your house, package an item, and then ship it for you?

I of course want a good one that is cheap

I don't know of any that come and do a pick up, But there are plenty of places that pack and ship. Mailboxes etc, Ups store, fedexkinkos.

I'm with Todd. The only company I know that comes to the home would be for shipping vehicles, boats and motor cycles.



Other than that, his advice is what I do...

UPS will pick up at your home but you have to box the item.

UPS and USPS will pick up at home. UPS does a great job of packaging in their stores but of course you have to pay for everything.



USPS gets a lot of my business because they give free boxes for priority mail. If I have to use UPS I turn the USPS boxes inside out so they are brown.

The reason why I am asking is that on ebay, there a quite a few items that say that I would have to arange for packaging and shipping. So I would need a company to go to where this item is, package it, and then ship it to me.

Sometimes the item is really cheap for the reason that the seller won't ship or package it. So I need to find a company and then ask them how much it would cost for them to package it, pick it up and ship it to me.

It isn't an inexpense way to go, but I have used a furniture mover for several large items. They packaged them and shipped them right to my door.
