I want to paint my bumpers black......I have seen a few Tracs on here with that done. Any suggestions on what brand paint to use and what steps to take would be helpful.

Thanks!:D

Try this here is a member project on how to paint the cladding

If you do not want to use bumper paint. a good enamal should do the trick as long as the bumpers are prep'd correctly I have used along with adhersion promoter a good plastic primer. I went to a local auto parts store that mixed paint had my car color pumped into a can. Didn't paint the cladding yet.

Depends what type of look you want.

Do you mind seeing the texture or not?

Do you want it gloss or not?

Are you doing it your self or not?

Are you using body paint equipment or spray cans?

I used Krylon "Fusion" in Satin Black which is designed to stick to Plastic. I also used it on some metal parts also and it worked really well.

Conrad, yes, goes very well..
