Painting the Grille guard

Hello People!,

I was wondering if people have painted their grille guards. I recently have picked up a friend of mines grille guard in stainless steel and would like to have it in black. I don't know much about painting but can you paint stainless, rhino line stainles or powder coat stainless? If someone could help me out that would be great

If it is SS, you will have to get it sand blasted to make the paint stick...Even then it may not stay on as well as if it was iron..not sure about prep for SS, for powdercoat..

Why dont you sell the SS grillguard and purchase a black grille guard.

I would love to buy a black one but the ss I got really cheap and i like the design of it. I have not seen this guard on any other vehicle. The black one on the website is very expensive. so i'm kinda stuck with it.
