PCV End Assembly Removal - Need Help ASAP

Been a LONG time since I've been here (last post was in March 2010!! BAD ME!)



Anyways, still running my '02, but I have the dreaded PCV vaccum leak and I am hoping someone is on that can give me a hand tonight.



What is the secret for removing the end assembly from the PCV valve? The tube end is clear but that sucker is stuck tight on the intake end.



Can I just cut it off with a razor knife or should it pull off or should I just go to bed and deal with it later.

I just cut mine off last night and put the new one on
