Peeling from hard 07 bed cover handle

On my 07 recentlky the rear latch that opens the hard bed cover started to peel. Its like the top layer of vinyl is flaking. Anyone else have this trouble?

Are you referring to the rubber pieces which seal and pop open to expose the key slot?

Is it possible that you are seeing some sort of protective film for shipping that the dealer forgot to remove when prepping for delivery to you?

Yes the rubber handles that cover the button to open the cover. I dont think its a protective film.

Will they warrenty something like this or will they give me a run around?

Should be bumper-to-bumper coverage, so they should replace it. It should not be wearing out this soon. If you can get pics, we'd love to see the damage.

Yeah my 07 has a small spot on the rear cover also, it looks like the top / textured layer is coming off.
